    Playing times - Temporary suspension of play at Kelburn

    From 18 August, the lawns at Kelburn Croquet Club have been undergoing major works. This work will now continue into early 2026 and all play remains suspended.  At this stage, we anticipate Wellington City Council will release the lawns back to the Club in late February 2026.  

    Our members are able to play at some of the other Wellington region clubs by arrangement while our lawns are closed. Photos of the work in progress are on the website under the All Photos tab. 

    Our Inter-Club matches will all be played “away” until further notice. Our "home" Summer Season will start after play resumes at Kelburn. We then plan a gradual return to our normal playing times.

    Details will be announced once we are clear about the state of the lawns.
